Description

Jaspe fabric is woven in Mayan village homes from tie-dyed cotton threads. Its production is a process of twenty five steps. In other parts of the world it is called Ikat. Mayan artisans developed the technique independently almost two thousand years ago. The Jaspe fabric of our products is woven on treadle looms. We have never received the same design twice!
